Although traditionally mixed with ballet, this new class will be infused with YOGA, PILATES & FUNCTIONAL FITNESS. We'll incorporate small isolated movements to fatigue and stabalise the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, sequencing and change of patterns that invites the whole body to work hard all to the beat of the music. You never know how long a song is until you've attended a barre class :)
This class is the spiciest of all 3 classes. See below for a sample of a barre class.

B A R R E & STRETCH

The chilled out version of Tuesday's barre. It will follow the barre and stretch pattern throughout the whole class to give participants more resting periods between the strength work. Barre and stretch is a great class if you've never tried barre before or generally would like a rest and stretch in between.
PILATES

By integrating Pilates core principles: breath, concentration, centering, flow, precision and control, we’ll develop our physical body and strengthen our mental focus and control. A little like yoga but without the spiritual stuff. A bit like barre but the kinder version and without the beat driven movements.
Great for beginners, postnatal, rehab and form awareness, Pilates focuses a great deal on core and posture.
(If you've tried my yoga classes, you'll see a huge crossover between the yoga and pilates.)
